Unsatisfying feeds

Not sure which bugs me more. This:

That the news headline RSS for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch doesn’t seem to provide any content except or synopsis.

Or this:

That the main RSS for the St. Louis Beacon is just a Twitter feed…and so doesn’t provide any content beyond a duplication of the title of the link.

Maybe it’s a tie.

Update: Beacon presentation editor Brent Jones replies in comments. The Beacon is already working on a fuller content solution for feeds.

Update: Post-Dispatch social media director Kurt Greenbaum also replies. Like Jones, he’s looking into feed solutions.
