Under the gun in Hurricane Alley

Chances are that you know someone - or are someone - who is staring down the barrel of Hurricane Frances as she makes for the Florida coast. Blog pal Chris at the bone has shuttered his house, gassed up his car, and is ready to wait it out. Another member of the local blogroll, Paul at phattboi, is headed to Florida today to help his parents prepare for the storm. The bulk of my family lives up the coast in South Carolina and is not in Frances’ path just yet - though God only knows where the storm’s “wobble” will send it. The thoughts of Waveflux are with you guys, whether you’re planning to hunker down or head for the hills. Everybody help each other out, yes?
