Too cute by half, if not criminal
High on today’s list of People You’d Like to Take Out Back and Smack Around: John P. Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods. Posting under a pseudonym on a finance bulleting board to disparage a rival company is eccentric at best. Posting over a thousand times over seven years prior to announcing a takeover bid for the rival sounds underhanded.
This doesn’t help improve my feelings towards Whole Foods, which I’ve always found precious and annoying.
