I suppose it would be only fair to wait for the cleric in question to explain publicly why he spent $8000 of donations intended for overseas mission work on fancy new vestments for himself, or to hold off on drawing a connection between that misappropriation and an apparent attempt to have the diocese’s chief financial officer dismissed.

Hard not to draw conclusions, though.
