Seattle only as gay-friendly as, say, St. Louis

CNN: Apparently, Seattle is gay-friendly only when the Mariners play away games. Ball fans there should save their outrage for the team’s crappy record.

  1. I agree with the M’s. I do not want to explain to my kids why two woman or two men are kissing at the ballgame. The only people that far to the left in Seattle are the freaks who just moved here.

  2. As a Log Cabin Republican Atlanta division I believe Seattle needs to clean up its act and stop women from making such displays. Who wants the homoerotic undertones of a baseball game ruined by something so ickey as two women kissing?!

  3. As great as the Seattle Mariners organization is from the management down to the players, things haven’t gone too well this year yet leaving the fans a little more than empty and the stands a little more than boring. A box of fries and some TLC could certainly make that 3 hours a bit more tolerable. If parents can explain why a boy and a girl are kissing in the stands, they can explain why persons of the same sex are kissing in the stands… same reason folks, you may not agree with it, but it’s here. Help your kids open their minds. I’m as straight as can be, and don’t understand same sex attraction in the least, but those folks do and that’s what makes it okay for them. It isn’t a crime, so it should be okay with us too. Just tell the kids that people have a right to make different decisions when what they’re doing doesn’t hurt anyone and we’re all God’s children.

  5. I don’t want to have to explain two women or two men kissing and whatever to a child either. Plus, I really don’t want to have it in my face. Things like ballgames are family friendly, and if these folks wanna do that stuff, watch it on tv. Don’t expect the rest of us to like it or have to tolerate it in puplic. What has happened to commen sense and manners.

  6. I like how the gay/lesbian community try to isolate the homophobic like they are an elite group of few people. Fact is, MOST people whether they admit it or not are totally disgusted by their PDA, and the majority should rule. Get over it and get a room!!

  7. Waah.

    Ewww.

    Cooties.

    /end recap

Once again, the CNN pipeline fulfills just about all of my expectations.

Thanks for playing, quiveringly homophobic “get a room” crowd. Don’t forget to pick up your door prizes on the way out.
