Juno? Ju Not.

It just came to me today, while driving by the Hi-Pointe and seeing its marquee - There Will Be Oscars: Juno - that not only do I have no desire whatsoever to see this movie, but I actually know who to blame for that. It’s you, of course. You’re always the reason: you and your media-buzzing, viral-spreading, oxygen-consuming chatter about what’s hot, or cool, or whatever. Juno is this minute’s Cloverfield for me, and this year’s Sideways. You love it, so I must avoid it like a creditor. Those are the rules, according to philosopher Richard Roma:

I subscribe to the law of contrary public opinion. If everyone thinks one thing, then I say, bet the other way.

Good rule to live by.
