Alexander Graham Bell meets Sex in the City, and the result is as weird and tawdry as you might imagine. Primus Communications appropriates the pre-Alex Comfort sex guide, the Kama Sutra, to pitch its Lingo VoIP service. Hence, this unsubtle come-on:

Get it? Position fifty-four! Yowza! And replete with the nubile silhouette, admirable torso and legs that go on forever. If that’s not suggestive enough, Retail Store Blog provides another Lingo offering: position sixty-nine.

The main problem with the ads, as Retail Store Blog suggests, is that there’s no follow-through. Click the link to the Lingo site and you see just another sterile telecom site. The brand image is totally absent. You can’t help but feel somewhat misled.

So there’s Lingo for you. It promises a lot, but when all’s said, it’s just another tease.

I’m not sure that’s the message they wanted to get across.
