He’d better be worth it

Was on my way to the grocery store last night. Listened to “Gametime Live” on Fox Sports Radio on the way. Heard the terms of Steven Jackson’s new holdout-extorted contract with the Rams. Four years. Forty-four million dollars.*
Wanted to pull over to the side of the road, roll down the window, and vomit.
Didn’t.
Sure wanted to, though.
All I know is that the Rams could have finished 3-13 without Jackson last season.
*That’s what I heard on FSR, but I’m seeing varying years and figures in other reports. The salient point, of course, is the twenty million in guaranteed money. And now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find some Pepto.
