Can’t talk - busy fantasizing

That is, I’ve decided not to let overrated TE Jeremy Shockey ruin my day. Again. Not only have I benched him in favor of Dallas Clark, I’ve grabbed the Washington D off the waiver wire. Thinking they’ve got a better matchup (against Shockey’s Giants) than does Buffalo or Philly.

They say it’s deadly to play the matchup game. They say “always start your studs - you sleep better that way.”

I always lose sleep during football season. And I never did before my in-laws roped me into the fantasy football racket.

I came in next-to-last my first season. Last year, I lost in the championship game. Which Purple Stallions - that’s my team - will appear this year?

And while we’re asking questions: Is it right to start a good WR (Hines Ward) even though he’s shackled to a bad QB (Tommy Maddox) against an angry D (Baltimore)? This one’s really bugging me.

Any chance that Brett Favre will be allowed to pass today? I mean, how greedy can Ahman Green be?

Anybody know?

Sigh.

We’ll talk more later.
