Sincere apologies to anyone who visited Waveflux on Sunday, July 6, only to find a steaming pile of unstyled blog on the screen. The fault is mine entirely; I engaged in some testing on the production blog that should properly have been done on the test installation, and mucked things up beyond repair. Days like today are why I maintain a test installation.
Fortunately, I was able to utilize the most recent backup of the weblog. Days like today are why I faithfully back up my weblog.
I wound up losing just one post, written on July 4, but I had a copy in my feed reader (rockin!) and so was easily able to restore it.
It took some time for the normalization of the blog to stick on the intarwebs; I temporarily shut down caching on the site to help the process. If Waveflux looks weird to you just now, try clearing your browser cache. If that doesn’t help, try visiting a few hours later. If it’s still a mess after that, please let me know if you have a spare moment. From here, though, things look pretty good (fingers crossed).

Things look good from here.
I’ve been too busy (doing what, I’m not sure) to go a’blogging, so I missed the fun.
Be glad you missed it. Thanks for the report; you can never be sure what things look like elsewhere.
