Bet the other way

The only flaw in Glenn Greenwald’s scathing piece on “The New Republic syndrome” afflicting that journal, our media in general, and far too much of the Democratic Party is that it omits one crucial take-home point: TNR’s invaluable role as a consistent barometer of how and what not to think.

As the old saw tells us, some things thought useless aren’t completely so. They can serve as bad examples.
