Another test page

One of my favorite post-system-upgrade pasttimes is the generation of test entries and comments. Oh, yeah. It’s fun, all right.

  1. Testing commenting system (which is behaving oddly).

Addendum: Tried commenting earlier using TypeKey as usual, but was denied. Tried again using the new built-in Movable Type registration rather than TypeKey. This was successful. Strongly considering junking TypeKey altogether and just having commenters use the new MT registration method. Not certain about OpenID.

Addendum: Tried removing TypeKey as a registration option, but incurred the wrath of some angry little bit inside of MT. Reinstated TypeKey for comment registration, but will frankly advise people not to use it until I can get the kinks worked out of it.

  2. Trying TypeKey again…

Addendum:…and now it looks like it works. Hmp. Guess commenters have a choice of registrations here. I’ll feel better about it when a real visitor comments.
