“An internal rebellion”

The situation began as an internal rebellion in the, er, South, then was compounded by a naval nasal blockade and related hostilities in the far North. Countermeasures were enacted, but not in time to prevent a general strike today.

It is hoped that tomorrow will see a resolution to the situation. Otherwise, we’ll have to go nuclear. And as we learned back in 1983, nobody wins that kind of contest.

  1. Nothing worse than your own personal civil war. I hope a general surrender by the enemy is imminent.

  2. I am also under attack, but only at the North end.

I don’t know whether to blame the mold (and its creator, the weather) or tree pollen. Doesn’t really matter; its not like knowing the cause will change anything. I’m not likely to move, and I’m doing everything the doc and allergist recommend.

  3. Bitty: Thanks, but the conflict has entered a third day. On top of that, M has also been home the last couple of days with migraines. We’re a sight.

Camera: Yeah, the principle of diminishing returns factors in when it comes to acquiring more info about some situations. Short of buying an environment suit, you’ve done all you can.
