It’s probably a golden age for people who can still afford to buy boats, homes, etc. since there’s such a secondhand glut available. I briefly (for an afternoon) toyed with the idea of buying a foreclosed house for investment purposes — to rent out — but because my handyman, Tall Son, is working out of state indefinitely, I figured it would become more trouble than bonanza.

It’ll be interesting to see if this leads to a new opportunistic market. I think it will, but slowly - the impression I get is that people are, generally speaking, too scared to risk it just now.
