Shufflin’ crew

This is what we call the ol’ fantasy football two-step: one step forward, one step back. Well, that’s what I call what my shuffling Purple Stallions have done thus far this season. The good news is that my team’s most last move was a step forward, giving me an awesome one-game winning streak and evening my record at 2-2. League commish Oliver Willis took the hit; his team was crippled by the absence of several players due to the Week 4 bye.

And so we move on! My running backs (Edge and Lynch) are performing to expectations and my waiver wire picks of Dallas kicker Nick Folk and the Green Bay defense are making me look smart. Unfortunately, my FF IQ is lowered by my woeful quarterbacks and inconsistent wide receivers. Let’s not even bring up the tight end position. We’ll see what happens this weekend when we take on the Tyler Rhinos. It’s a matchup I can win, if the Good Lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise.
