Waveflux ala The Simpsons

Terrence at The Republic of T. is completely to blame for my having wasted the time it took to render a Simpsonized version of myself.

Waveflux, all Simpsonized

Eerily accurate, actually.

These interactive movie sites are often more entertaining than the films themselves. Does anyone know which film was the first to exploit the Web in this way?

  1. Wow, I’ve got a Duff Beer shirt, too!

They are really marketing the hell out of this thing. A few miles from me is one of the 7-Elevens they’ve made over into Kwik-E-Marts. Of course, I’m going to drop in and get a Squishee. Too bad they aren’t selling any Duff, though.

  2. I expected you to have a slightly curlier hairstyle. No, I can’t possibly explain why. :-D

The lack of a glasses option is really weird.

Yesterday M and I went to the megaplex to see Die Hard 4 and Ocean’s 92 (or whatever); there was a life-sized 3-D mockup of the Simpsons family on their couch. A girl toddler wobbled over to it and hugged Homer’s leg. It was bizarre, yet kind of cute.

  3. Here I am, so you can recognize me in case we ever do get together for drinks.

  4. I’ll remember to carry a hard copy of your avatar to help with identification. “No…no…no…ah, there you are.” :-D
